Helionetics Inc.: The Irvine company’s stock fell 11% in trading Tuesday after it said it would acquire 75% of the stock of a medical laser company.
Helionetics said the deal would increase its stake in Acculase Inc., a San Diego medical laser firm, from 7.5% to 75% for an undisclosed price. Helionetics stock fell 50 cents a share to $3.875 in trading on the American Stock Exchange.
