Arut Karapetyan scored an unassisted goal in the 20th minute as the Salsa defeated the South Korean national team, 1-0, at Cal State Fullerton.
South Korea did not score despite 12 shots on goal. The Salsa is playing against Monterrey of Mexico in Houston Sunday. South Korea plays Colombia Sunday in East Los Angeles before facing the U.S. national team March 12 at Fullerton.
