Adios Maria

Maria Guarnaschelli, perhaps the most successful cookbook editor of the last 10 years, is changing houses, going from William Morrow to Simon and Schuster. The editor behind talents as varied as Jeff “The Frugal Gourmet” Smith, “The Cake Bible” author Rose Levy Beranbaum, and French cooking expert Patricia Wells, Guarnaschelli’s future has been a much-discussed topic lately in publishing circles. At press time, it was not known which authors would accompany her to her new post.
