Nation IN BRIEF : NEW YORK : Jury Deliberations Start in Bomb Case

The jury in the World Trade Center bombing trial began deliberating the fate of four Muslims. U.S. District Judge Kevin Duffy instructed the federal court jurors in Manhattan to put aside “sympathy, suspicion or prejudice” and to suspend “any personal feelings you may have about any political beliefs.” The Feb. 26, 1993, attack killed six people, injured more than 1,000 others and caused $550 million in damage.
