Diodes Inc. Reports Strong 4th Quarter

Diodes Inc., a Westlake Village semiconductor rectifier supplier, reported a $959,852 fourth-quarter profit.

The earnings included a $470,000 benefit from an accounting change. In the fourth quarter of 1992, Diodes earned $127,828. Its sales grew 50% in the latest quarter, to $7.6 million from $5.07 million.

For all of 1993, the company earned $1.59 million, more than triple the $404,986 in net income it reported a year earlier. Its 1993 sales were $26.4 million, up 43% from $18.4 million in sales in 1992.
