Time Warner Delays Information Superhighway Test: The publishing and media conglomerate said it will delay until the fourth quarter a test of its Full Service Network in Orlando, Fla.--a sign that the information superhighway may take much longer to build than predicted. The FSN, which will offer subscribers everything from movies on demand to home shopping and banking, originally was to be made available to 4,000 households starting next month. The network, billed as the most advanced U.S. cable system, combines the functions of conventional cable TV with telephone service. Time Warner officials said writing the software for it and building the set-top terminals is taking longer and proving more difficult than expected.
