Alpha Microsystems Acquisition

Alpha Microsystems, developer of business computers and software, said Thursday that it has acquired the computer maintenance business and related assets of Alpha Computer Services Inc. for about $1.5 million in cash.

Alpha Microsystems, which has focused on servicing computers for corporations, said it expects to add $2 million to its estimated $45 million in annual revenue as a result of the deal.

Alpha Computer Services’ business in San Rafael in Northern California will become part of Alpha Microsystems’ service operations subsidiary.
