Behind The Scenes : Spring Suits Both Models and Guests Just Fine in ‘Fantasy’ Preview Benefit

The grand ballroom of the Ritz-Carlton in Dana Point was the setting for a sweeping fashion show that displayed something for everyone--from casual to couture.

The fourth annual “Fashion Fantasy” spring preview show last week benefited the Health Resources Center of the Women’s Pavilion at South Coast Medical Center in Laguna Beach. It was sponsored by the Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce.

Most of the 450 people in the audience were outfitted to match the models: Hats and light-colored spring suits were on show, on and off the runways.

Laguna Niguel stores participating in the show were Casual Lifestyles, Champagne, Chez Joey New & Nearly New Designer Clothing, Fullers for Men & Women, Just Clever, Mel’s Boutique, Meryl Jeran Couture, Mi Place, Nancy’s Merry-Go-Round, Something Moore, T J Maxx, T. Stephens & Company and Vogue Alley. Salon Salon in Monarch Beach styled the models’ hair for the fund-raiser.
