William L. Young has been appointed to the newly created position of senior vice president of corporate marketing for PacifiCare Health Systems Inc., a Cypress-based managed care organization. He was formerly president and chief executive of Emtrust Corp. Young has also been president and chief executive of Lincoln National Health Plan, chief operating officer of MetLife Healthcare Network and has held marketing and sales positions with American Express and PepsiCo.
