Anaheim’s Datum Gets New $375,000 Order in Ongoing Contract

Datum Inc., a maker of computer subsystems, said Tuesday that it has received a $375,000 order from a San Diego company for testing equipment, bringing the value of an ongoing contract with the company to $1 million.

For two years, Datum has been selling its Global Positioning System timing receivers to Qualcomm Inc., which uses the equipment as part of its tests and demonstrations. The Datum equipment provides precise timing synchronization needed by Qualcomm’s system.
