CBS’s NCAA Coverage Leaves This Fan Cold

Is it just me, or is there something radically wrong at CBS Sports? Who was the wise guy who decided not to dedicate more air time to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament? Do the “execs” in New York plan to rest on their Winter Olympic laurels for the rest of the year? I certainly hope not, because if Thursday’s coverage of the tourney was any indication--college hoop fans are in for a long three weeks!

I can’t understand why CBS decided to scrap the last game of the afternoon (the best game of the afternoon!) Not airing Cal vs. Wisconsin Green Bay was a classic sports TV blunder! CBS had the opportunity to showcase the best guard in college basketball (Jason Kidd) since Magic was a pup, and they dropped the ball! The least they could have done was broadcast it for the people in California and Wisconsin.
