Countywide : Rock Bands Will Play to Aid Quake Victims
Three county rock bands will perform Saturday at a local club to benefit a Red Cross fund for victims of the January Northridge earthquake.
Rock ‘n’ roll band Mercy Street, the punk-influenced band Conspiracy and the all-female hard-rock band Driven Steel will perform at Club 369 at 1641 N. Placentia Ave., starting at 8p.m.
All proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross. Earthquake victims still need help with rent, food and medicine, Red Cross spokeswoman Judy Iannaccone said.
