Health Care

If something is said often enough, even though untrue, people will eventually begin to embrace it as truth. That is what is happening with the subject of our nation’s health care. In spite of what we keep hearing from the White House, we do not have a health care crisis. There is no need for a drastic change in our system. Our country enjoys the most sophisticated and comprehensive health care in the world, and we need to look closely at any new system that might threaten to erode it.

There are some alarming aspects to President Clinton’s health care proposal that cause me great concern. While there is always room for improvement in any program, the drastic changes called for in the Clinton plan are just too risky.
