Man Dies When Minivan Plunges Into Sinkhole

NEW WINDSOR, Md. —
A man was killed when his minivan plunged into a 20-foot-deep sinkhole that opened up in the middle of a highway in the early morning darkness, authorities said. Robert Knight, 24, of Taneytown, Md., died at a hospital about five hours after the accident Thursday.
