What’s shaking in Country Club Park?
Monday’s meeting of the Country Club Park Neighborhood Assn. features two presentations to let people know: “The Ground Beneath Country Club Park and the Effect of Nearby Faults,” by Alan Barrows, a geologist with the state Division of Mines and Geology, and “Does Your House Need to Be Bolted to the Foundation?” by Bill Leiberman of Cal-Seismic, a company that specializes in earthquake-safety construction.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Pico-Arlington Christian Church, 3405 W. Pico Blvd. The parking entrance is on Westchester Place.
