Nation IN BRIEF : ARIZONA : Concealed-Weapons Bill Sent to Governor
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
A bill allowing Arizonans to carry concealed weapons after obtaining a permit and meeting other requirements was passed by the Legislature and has been sent to the governor for his signature. Gov. Fife Symington has not said whether he will sign it. Adults now are allowed to carry a gun any time so long as it is in full view. That includes in a hip holster, lying on a seat in a vehicle or hanging in a rack over the rear window of a pickup.
