A Note to Readers

Last Sunday’s cover story on Courtney Love drew some angry letters and calls. Most accused Calendar of insensitivity for publishing the story two days after the news broke that Love’s husband, Kurt Cobain of the rock group Nirvana, had committed suicide at the couple’s Seattle home.

Sunday Calendar is printed Thursday and early Friday, along with some other sections of the Sunday paper. As a result, last week’s section was printed and on its way to distributors when news reached us of Cobain’s tragic death.
