Share

The Ventura Institute of Technology, which provides training for employees of manufacturing and service firms, has doubled its size by moving to new quarters on 1st Street in Simi Valley.

Since its founding in 1989, the institute has provided in-plant and classroom training to employees of 65 companies, according to John D. Greiman, the school’s president.

In many cases, tuition is paid by a state agency, he reports.

The institute formerly was on Royal Avenue in Simi Valley.
