Diceon Electronics Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of circuit boards and backpanels recorded a loss of $582,000, or 11 cents a share, for its latest fiscal quarter, compared to a loss of $8.4 million, or $1.63 a share, for the corresponding period a year earlier. Sales for the company’s second quarter, which ended April 2, were up 12% to $26.2 million from $23.3 million. For the first half, the company posted a loss of $3.9 million, or 77 cents a share, compared to a loss of $10 million, or $1.95 a share, for the same period a year earlier. Six-month sales were $50.5 million, down from $52.1 million.
