‘Sex and Sin’

In response to “Sex and Sin: There Is a Difference,” by Rabbi Michael Gotlieb, Commentary, April 14:

How can Rabbi Gotlieb preach the morality of premarital sex without mentioning the millions of children (and immortal souls) thus created? The possibility for creating children without two committed parents makes the act immoral. How can Gotlieb admit that “premarital sex is unholy,” yet require our public schools to teach our children how to engage in this unholiness without risk?
