FBI Releases More Papers on Kennedy Assassination Probe
The FBI has sent an additional 146,778 pages of investigative files on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy to the National Archives for public release.
The transfer included 92,245 pages of files from FBI headquarters on the investigation of Kennedy’s death, 54,001 pages from the FBI’s Dallas office on the investigation of assassin Lee Harvey Oswald and 532 pages from field offices on related subjects like Oswald’s wife, Marina, the FBI announced Friday.
The archives plans to let the public see the new material in May. The exact date has not been set, spokeswoman Susan Cooper said.
