SIMI VALLEY : Reagan Library Accepts Notes to Nixon Family

Share

Admirers of former President Richard Nixon may write their condolences to the family of the late leader in a book on display at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library near Simi Valley.

Library officials have set up a large photo of the former President in the library and plan to send the book with its written messages to the Nixon family as a reminder of Nixon’s continued respect in California.

Nixon, who was a longtime friend of former President Ronald Reagan, visited the Reagan Library twice, most recently last July just a month after his wife, Pat, died. On his first trip, Nixon joined former Presidents Gerald R. Ford and Jimmy Carter and then-President George Bush in helping to dedicate the building when it opened in 1991.

For regular visitors, admission prices are $4 for general admission and $2 for senior citizens. Children younger than 15 are admitted free. For more information, call 522-8444.
