Homedco Group Inc.: The Fountain Valley provider of home health care services posted a 19% gain in profit for its latest quarter, to $7 million, or 52 cents a share, from $5.9 million, or 44 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the company’s second fiscal quarter, which ended March 31, increased 10% to $128 million from $116.6 million. For the first half of its fiscal year, the company posted a profit of $14.1 million, or $1.06 a share, up 25% from earnings of $11.3 million, or 85 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Six-month revenue was up 9% to $251.5 million from $230 million.
