Quantum Health Resources Inc.: The Orange provider of therapies and support services for chronic disorders reported that its profit for the first quarter rose 50% to $4.8 million, or 31 cents a share, from $3.2 million, or 21 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. The 1993 profit figure included $552,000 in merger transaction costs. Revenue was up 46% to $61.6 million from $42.3 million for the comparable 1993 quarter.
