MANHATTAN BEACH : Program to Introduce Families to Computers
Parents who can’t tell ROM from right will get some guidance May 4 when the school district presents “Family Technology Night” in the Mira Costa High School Auditorium at 7 p.m.
The program is a cooperative effort between the school district and computer software corporation Microsoft to update parents about computers and software and teach basic computer terminology. Ten computers on loan from the Compaq Corp. will be available for hands-on learning.
