Soft Seating for Cushy Comfort

Couch-potato alert. The High Point, N.C., spring furniture market, which ended last week, produced a new upholstery fabric for those who like a cushy seat.

Polarfleece, that fuzzy stuff popular for lightweight jackets and weekend sportswear, is the latest fabric to make the jump from fashion to home furnishings.

It showed up on a modern version of a blue wing chair at the Milling Road division of Baker Furniture and is available in red, gray, khaki and brown.
