‘Bell’ Rings Up Sales

Pink Floyd’s “The Division Bell” continues to dominate The Times’ Southern California pop album chart, while “Chant,” an album of Gregorian chants recorded by Benedictine monks has moved up a notch to No. 2. Nirvana’s “In Utero” dropped out of the Top 10, while Toni Braxton moved back in at No. 7, from No. 13. Braxton also moved up one spot on the R&B; album chart to No. 2. Conscious Daughters’ single “Somethin’ to Ride to (Fonky Expedition)” remains at No. 5 on the singles chart, though it’s only ranked at No. 37 nationally.
