Trade Gap Widens Dramatically: The colony’s trade deficit rose more than 50% to $1.19 billion in March from $776.2 million a year earlier, said the Census and Statistics Department. Although exports rose 7.7% to $11.3 billion in March from a year earlier, imports increased 11% to $12.4 billion, according to provisional figures from the department.
