Trizec Properties Inc. in Encino said Craig Cahow has been named vice president of leasing. Cahow will head the company’s leasing activities for the 11 office buildings that Trizec owns and manages in Southern California. Cahow has been with Trizec for eight years and was its vice president of new business.

Robert S. Attiyeh has been named senior vice president of finance and corporate development at Amgen Inc. Attiyeh’s specialties include strategy development, and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Attiyeh was a senior partner with the consulting firm McKinsey & Co. Inc., and he worked as a consultant to Amgen. He also worked in McKinsey’s offices in Denmark and Japan, and he has held finance and management positions at TRW.

He will replace Lowell E. Sears who retired March 31.

Amgen is a Thousand Oaks-based biotechnology company.

Advanced Photonix Inc., a Camarillo maker of photodetectors and other electronic devices, said Andrzej J. Dabrowski has joined the company as executive vice president and chief scientific officer.

A co-founder of Advanced Photonix, Dabrowski was formerly president of Xsirius Inc. and was director of USC’s Institute of Physics.

Lockheed Finance Corp. in Burbank said Robert H. Brandow Jr. has been named chief financial officer.

Brandow, 48, has a 21-year banking career and was most recently a senior vice president at Westpac Banking Corp. Lockheed Finance, a wholly owned subsidiary of aerospace giant Lockheed Corp., supports Lockheed companies and customers with more than $1 billion in loan proposals and commitments annually.
