Amplicon Inc.: The Santa Ana equipment leasing company reported a 20% gain in profit for its third fiscal quarter, to $3 million, or 51 cents a share, from $2.5 million, or 43 cents a share. Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 increased 21%, to $49.1 million from $40.5 million. For the first nine months of fiscal 1994, profit was up 11% from the year-earlier period to $8.1 million, or $1.38 a share, from $7.3 million, or $1.25 a share. Revenue rose to $145.2 million from $122.9 million.
