Odetics Inc.: The maker of computer storage equipment and other high-tech gear on Wednesday reported record earnings and revenues for its fiscal year ended March 31.

For the year, Odetics reported net income of $1.8 million, or 34 cents a share, up from $141,000, or 3 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenues were $84.2 million, up from $69.3 million a year earlier.

For the fourth quarter, the Anaheim company reported net income of $830,000, or 14 cents a share, compared with $763,000, or 16 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenues for the quarter were $23.2 million, up from $18.3 million a year earlier.

Among Odetics’ fast-growing product lines are its security cameras and computer-tape libraries, which back up data stored on networks of business computers, said Joel Slutzky, chief executive.
