From Associated Press

The Vancouver Canucks are doing a pretty good imitation of the Montreal Canadiens of the 1993 Stanley Cup playoffs.

The Canucks have won four consecutive overtime games in the playoffs, the latest a 2-1 decision over the Dallas Stars Sunday at Vancouver.

Last season, Montreal set the record with 10 victories in sudden-death.

The Canucks lead the Stars three games to one in their Western Conference semifinal series after Sergio Momesso scored at 11:01 of overtime.

“It was a tight game and I just happened to be there at the right time,” Momesso said. “Finally we got some luck at home. I guess we don’t mind overtime.”

Vancouver is 2-3 at home in the playoffs, winning both games in overtime.

Vancouver beat the Calgary Flames three consecutive games in overtime to win the first-round series, 4-3.

Game 5 in the best-of-seven series against Dallas will be Tuesday at Vancouver.

Toronto 8, San Jose 3--Dave Andreychuk had two goals and one assist to lead the Maple Leafs at San Jose as they evened this series at 2-2.

Andreychuk got his first points of the series after being limited to six shots in three previous games. Doug Gilmour added a goal and four assists for Toronto, which chased San Jose goalie Arturs Irbe after two periods.

Maple Leafs goalie Felix Potvin, who gave up five goals in Friday’s loss to the Sharks, withstood several good San Jose chances early and had a solid outing despite giving up two third-period goals. He turned back 27 of 30 shots.

Game 5 will be Tuesday at San Jose.
