USC Shuts Down the Titans

USC defeated Cal State Fullerton, 4-1, in a nonconference baseball game Sunday at USC.
The Trojans (35-18) won two games in the three-game series. The Titans are 41-13.
USC junior Ben Tucker, making his fourth appearance of the season, gave up four hits in eight innings for the victory. He retired 14 batters at one point.
Tucker (1-1), whose right thumb was broken during the Jan. 17 earthquake, didn’t pitch until April 19.
