A proposed plea agreement for a man charged with holding a girl prisoner in a dungeon fell apart when a defendant in a related case balked and insisted on a trial. John Esposito, 43, is charged with holding Katie Beers captive at his Bay Shore home on Long Island. He was willing to accept the plea bargain, said his lawyer, Andrew Siben. But Sal Inghilleri, 41, who is married to Katie’s godmother, refused to plead guilty to two counts of sex abuse involving the girl.
