Aurora Electronics Inc.: The Irvine provider of support and distribution services to the electronics industry said its second-quarter profit totaled $1 million, or 14 cents a share, down 23% from the $1.3 million, or 22 cents a share, posted for the corresponding period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 more than doubled, to $31 million from $15.2 million. For the first half, profit declined 24% from the prior year period, to $1.9 million, or 26 cents a share, from $2.5 million, or 44 cents a share. Revenue rose to $52.3 million from $29.4 million.
