Wahlco Environmental Systems Inc.: The company said Tuesday that it has signed three contracts, valued at more than $5 million, to build gas conditioning systems. The announcement came as the Santa Ana company acknowledged that slowed sales have forced it to close plants in Canada, Great Britain and West Virginia. The company also said it hopes to reduce its work force by as many as 250 employees by the end of the year.
