MONROVIA : Police to Issue Rewards for Bikers With Helmets
The Monrovia Police Department has launched a program to reward young bicycle riders for wearing their helmets. Project HELP (Helmet Education and Law Program) is designed to promote good safety habits in young riders.
Monrovia officers will look out for youths wearing helmets and will issue special tickets to the riders. The ticket can be redeemed for a reward from one of 12 local businesses, including Baskin Robbins, Toys R Us and Taco Bell.
