LAPD Boosters to Install Officers
The Foothill Advisory Booster Assn., which raises money and provides equipment for the LAPD’s Foothill Division, will introduce new President Dick Starr at its eighth annual Installation and Awards Dinner on June 10.
Los Angeles City Councilman Joel Wachs will be the installing officer. In addition to Starr, members to be installed are Jan Dillen, vice president; Capt. Gus Drulias, executive adviser; Sgt. Brad Young, LAPD coordinator; Shirley Walten, secretary, and Ed Cholakian, treasurer.
The event, which starts at 6 p.m., will be held at the Odyssey restaurant, 15600 Odyssey Drive, Granada Hills. Dinner tickets are $25 per person, and reservations are required by June 3. For information, call 756-8866.
