Fluor Profit Up 14%: The rise in second-quarter earnings partly reflects improved profit margins in the Irvine-based company’s core engineering, construction and technical services unit. Rollans, 51, who was promoted to senior vice president and chief administrative officer. Flour’s net income rose to $47.7 million, or 58 cents a share, from $42 million, 51 cents, a year ago.
