GARDEN GROVE : District Graduation Dates Approaching

More than 2,350 high school seniors and adult education students will participate in Garden Grove Unified School District’s graduation ceremonies on June 16, 20 and 21.

Commencement ceremonies for intermediate schools will be on June 21, said district spokesman Alan Trudell.

Graduation ceremonies will be held on June 20 for: La Quinta High School students at 3 p.m. at Bolsa Grande High School stadium; Los Amigos High School students at 6 p.m. at Garden Grove High School stadium; Pacifica High School students at 6 p.m. at Bolsa Grande High School stadium; Rancho Alamitos High School students at 5 p.m. on campus; Santiago High School students at 3 p.m. at Garden Grove High School stadium.

Graduation ceremonies will be held on June 20 for: Bolsa Grande High School students at 5 p.m. at the school stadium; Garden Grove High School students at 4:30 p.m. at the campus stadium; and Lake High School students at 7 p.m. on campus.

Adult education ceremonies will be held at 7 p.m. on June 16 at the Chapman-Hettinga Education Center.

Commencement ceremonies will be held for: Alamitos Intermediate School students at 2 p.m. at Rancho Alamitos High School; Hilton D. Bell Intermediate School students at 2 p.m. at Pacifica High School; Dr. Leroy L. Doig Intermediate School students at 1:45 p.m. at Santiago High School; Stephen R. Fitz Intermediate School students at 1:30 p.m. at Los Amigos High School; and James Irvine Intermediate School students at 1:30 at the Don Wash Auditorium of Garden Grove High School.

Commencement ceremonies will also be held for: Donald S. Jordan Intermediate School students at 1:30 p.m. at Bolsa Grande High School; McGarvin Intermediate School students at 11 a.m. on campus; Dr. Walter C. Ralston Intermediate School students at 11:15 a.m. at the Don Wash Auditorium of Garden Grove High School; and Walton Intermediate School students at 9 a.m. at the Don Wash Auditorium of Garden Grove High School.

Trudell said a ceremony will also be held at 11 a.m. on June 21 for students attending the Jordan Secondary Learning Center. Fifteen students with disabilities will be recognized at that ceremony, which will be held at that campus.

The Garden Grove School District serves most of Garden Grove and portions of Santa Ana, Anaheim, Westminster, Cypress, Stanton and Fountain Valley.
