BRIEFLY : Education: LMU Student Wins Grant

Dennis Metro, a senior history major at Loyola Marymount University in Westchester, has been awarded a National Security Education Undergraduate Scholarship Program grant to study in Hungary.

Metro, 22, received the grant from the Institute of International Education. He will attend political science and Russian and Hungarian language classes at Janus Pannonius Tudomanyos Egyetem, a university in Pecs, Hungary, during the 1994-95 academic year.

The program was created to help Americans better understand foreign cultures.
