Kmart CEO Says He Won’t Quit: Joseph Antonini said he still has the support of the board, Women’s Wear Daily reported. Over the last year, the chief executive has faced increasing pressure to revive the nation’s second-largest retailer. He also denied rumors that Kmart might bring in a chief operating officer to help get the company back on track. At Kmart’s annual meeting last week, shareholders rejected a proposal backed by Antonini to sell stakes in the company’s specialty chains, including Sports Authority, Waldenbooks/Borders, Office Max and Builders Square.
