Cornerback Robert Bailey, a restricted free agent, has re-signed with the Rams for a fourth season.

The 5-foot-9, 176-pound Bailey missed the final seven games of last season after suffering a knee injury against Atlanta. In 31 games with the Rams, Bailey has 62 tackles and five interceptions.

Capistrano Valley pitcher Brandon Puffer has signed with the Minnesota Twins, his mother, Liz, said.

Puffer, a 27th-round draft pick, has been assigned to the Twins’ rookie league team in Ft. Myers, Fla. He was 5-3 with a 2.93 earned-run average and 63 strikeouts this season.
