Letters to Voices : ‘A Refreshing Change’

I thoroughly enjoyed Ted Lepon’s article (“They Come to Gaze, to Wander, to Shop,” May 30). I found this article to be a wonderful, refreshing change from the sensationalized news depicting the violence of gang drive-by shootings, carjackings and other crimes of escalating proportions that so often appears in the media.

Perhaps if we would all make it a point to focus our minds and attention on the many good things going on in the city--instead of the bad--this may be the start of getting back our once-beloved City of Angels as well as our sanity.
