Yemen Peace Talks Canceled

SANA, Yemen —
Peace talks were called off Saturday and northern forces in Yemen’s civil war threatened to storm the southern stronghold of Aden unless the south ended its month-old secession.
The ultimatum was given as the Egyptian foreign minister reported that cease-fire talks would not take place today in Cairo as planned. Both sides had agreed Friday to attend the U.N.-arranged talks.
