LA PALMA : July 1 Deadline for Hospital CPR Class

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital will hold a “heart-saver class” in cardiopulmonary resuscitation on July 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the main classroom of the hospital, at 7901 Walker St.

The six-hour course, co-sponsored by the American Heart Assn., will include adult and infant resuscitation, as well as the recommended technique to clear obstructed airways.

The class is open to the public, and the fee is $25. Registration and fee payment are required by July 1.
