Sholom Aleichem Fest

I want to thank the Los Angeles Times for the excellent articles about the festival for Sholom Aleichem that took place at the Orange County Jewish Community Center on June 5 (“Around and About,” OC Live!, June 2; “On the Man Behind ‘Fiddler on the Roof,’ ” Calendar, June 4).

The stories, by Benjamin Epstein, covered all the essential details and captured the flavor of the festival. I most appreciated his checking with me several times to clarify things. Best of all, he asked me intelligent and penetrating questions about the event that also helped me to better understand it as a whole.
