Bring Some McKetchup Too
Next time you stay at a motel, room service may come from the Golden Arches. McDonald’s will soon begin test deliveries to about 20 roadside motels across the country.
A food service analyst said the idea is great but that one of the biggest potential problems will be getting the fries to the consumer before they get cold.
“If McDonald’s is near the interstate, then they can serve a real good, hot product,” said A.B. Albritton, a corporate relations official for the participating motels. “If they’re far away, then that’s a horse of a different color.”
