AND ONE MORE THING: Baby, you can drive Ringo’s car. The former Beatles drummer’s ’57 Chevy is the centerpiece item of a rock memorabilia auction being conducted by a firm called It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll of Huntington Station, N.Y. The company expects the vehicle--said to be in mint condition--to fetch more than $30,000.

The unique thing about this auction, though, is you don’t have to be there to check out the merchandise. The company is billing it as the “first ever video rock ‘n’ roll auction”--all the items can be “previewed” on a videotape made by the firm, and bids will be taken by mail, phone and fax, with items being sold Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
