Provo, Utah-based Novell Inc. has completed its previously reported $855-million acquisition of Orem, Utah-based WordPerfect Corp. . . . Lotus Development Corp. said it has changed the terms of its agreement to acquire SoftSwitch Inc. Lotus said it will purchase SoftSwitch for $62 million in cash, not 1.3 million Lotus shares.
